That is also why the badge never replaces the safety toolkit. Skip, block and report work identically in every conversation, verified or not, and your own judgment outranks any label the interface can show.

A practical pattern: let the badge guide attention, not trust. Prioritize labeled profiles when browsing, then let the first minutes of conversation do the real vetting — do they respect a topic change, do they ask questions back, do they take a no gracefully. Behavior verifies people better than any check can.
And if a profile that seemed fine turns out otherwise, the tools are one tap away. Reporting also feeds community review, which keeps labels meaning something for the next person.
